i disagree
I don't know if your grandson was playing really rough with them but when i gave them to my 5 year old twin boys they didn't break it, they manage to break every expensive toy they have but this toy was only a dollar and they have had it for a month now.

CHEAP
With two firefighters in the family, we bought these for our grandchildren. They fell apart and split the first time out of the package! Got another one...same thing! Cheap! Cheap! Cheap!
