Great for crafts, too
I craft these trap (after pulling of the trigger with a pliers) into fridge magnet paper holders. They are super cute and STRONG! The only traps I buy now. Great quality and price.

Hard to set and trigger
It has a very strong spring but is very effective. I'd recommend to cover the trap with peanut butter like making a sandwich, the first two times I set it and only put peanut butter on the trip and the mouse ate it without triggering it. I then triggered the trap with a pencil, then covered the entire surface with a light coating of peanut butter, reset it, and put it into action within 1 hour I heard it trigger and had a dead mouse. Don't skimp on the peanut butter and covering a lot of the trap makes it where the mouse will spend more time on the killing surface increasing it's chances of getting caught.
