Science for Kids Activity Kits
They work and for a dollar, great!
At the store I have purchased all of the different ones. The one that produces gel marbles are exactly the same as the more expensive version at other stores, the fake snow is cool (felt like soap), the gel blocks are OK, the crystal tree works and shows crystal growth, but is not fantastic. All of these are fun introductions to "science experiments" for kids and are only a dollar. My kids liked them.

Gel balls -
It doesn't say how long to soak the little balls, although the box says they quickly grow. After about 6 hours the gel balls were about the size of very small marbles. We couldn't tell when they had stopped growing since it was so slow. It says to dry them off but they are gel and don't really "dry". They bounce a little but nothing great. It was a long wait for not much excitement. There's nothing in the package that explains what science is involved.
