fun for kids
got this for my 5 year old and one for her little sister she loved a cheap balsa wood glider and this was an improvement and even cheaper, note however that the elevator in the back is thin and breaks easily, this can be fixed by cutting another out of a Styrofoam plate. definitely recommend getting more than one so it can be fixed.

Excellent 5 year record
I have been getting about 75 of these Styrofoam airplanes annually for about 5 years. I put them together (they come in four pieces that are easily assembled) and then fifth grade students creatively paint them. They are then collected and later distributed to children at our annual Fly-In. The kids fly their airplanes at the airport while real planes fly in for the adult activities. They fly well, color well, and are amazing for the $1 cost. Before I found out this year that I could order online and have them at no additional cost delivered to the local Dollar Tree for pickup, I was buying at the store whenever I would see them, but if I was short, I would search the internet and stores for hours trying to find something comparable for a reasonable price. No deal. Anything similar was $6-7.00!! Thank you Dollar Tree for the excellent airplane, but also the excellent online service and accessibility.

Used it for kids science project
Used the wing curvature to explain how airplane utilize air flow/pressure to lift airplane up. The kids loved it when they get to each build their own plane and test fly the plane.

Value Item - Special Order
I teach 5th and 6th grade at church and I purchase many of my classroom aids from DollarTree. I normally visit the storefronts but I so happen to goggle dollartree and discovered their website. I was able to order exactly what I needed and still pay the low price for good value products.
