EXTENDS LIFE OF PRODUCE
This really helps to extend the life of fruits and vegetables. Make sure you get the air out each time you open it. The zipper top makes it much easier than the kind with twistie-ties. I have found some produce keeps better than others. When used correctly, I have kept fruits and vegis for 3 weeks or more in the refrigerator in these bags. After you are done using one, they are easy to hand wash and prop open to dry. This makes them even more afordable than the 12.5 cents a bag. In this day of inflation, you need to save whenever you can. Washing and re-using them did not affect their effectiveness. Be sure to put your produce in the bags as soon as you get home from the grocery store. Putting them in the bag after they have been a few days in your frig will help, but will not work as well is if you put them in right away. I would recommend these to anyone who does not buy produce on a daily basis to use it. They are inexpensive, and I have saved well more than the price of the bags in the price of the produce that has not spoiled.
