Love these
I love the shells I picked some up at my local store and I love them they are well worth the buck you spend on them can NOT beat it i am using them for my center pieces at my reception they are great and the rest of them are being used in my bathroom for decoration i am telling u u can not beat the price of these

Great basket of shells!
I am not sure what other reviewers were expecting, but I got exactly what I paid for. Some prettier shells on top, and some regular standard shells underneath. There is certainly enough "pretty ones" in the basket. Especially for paying a dollar! Just one of these shells in a seashell shop would cost you at least 50 cents for the "not pretty" ones and probably 2 -3 bucks for the prettier ones.

Best Purchase Ever
I bought these to use for my wedding invitations-the best purchase I have ever made when it comes to seashells! I'm not sure what they are made out of, but they are as hard as stone. It took my fiance a special drill bid to drill through these amazing, cute and amazingly real looking seashells. To buy seashells anywhere else will run you a TUN (about $15.00 for a basket that's just a little bit bigger), but here you get a cute basket filled (which you can re-use)with big, meduim and small seashells for only $1.00!!! If that's not an AMAZING deal, I'm not sure what is.

Top's pretty, bottom's not!
The top layer of shells are indeed beautiful, but the layers beneath aren't aesthetically pleasing in the least. Still works for what I needed them for, but I'll have to buy more than originally planned for my beach wedding centerpieces.
