Great for Operation Christmas Child
At my church every year we collect items for Operation Christmas Child. The boxes are sent to kids in other countries. Last year the one request was that crayons did not have a brand name on them. This item is great because of the fact there is no brand name or color names on them. They can be sent in boxes to any country in the world.

Horrible
This crayon is horrible. I had gotten it for my younger brother who simply needed some colors. It certainly had a lot for the price of eight crayola crayons. But when we opened it so he could color his new coloring book he was happy but I wasn't. There was an odor and when you colored, there were streaks and chunks falling out. And the colors were weird. It took me forever to find the color he wanted. A dark red crayon could be a purple and a black could be a lame excuse for a brown. This crayon isn't even worth half of it's price.

Terrible: Take it from a teacher!
I'm a Kindergarten teacher and my class goes through crayons like you wouldn't believe. Instead of using my supply of expensive Crayola crayons, I picked up a few boxes of these. Within fifteen minutes of use, most of them were broken. They don't hold up--even under the most careful pressure. They leave a waxy trail on the paper. The colors are not accurate and seem to be "mixed together." All in all, these crayons are terrible. They are not worth a dollar-- in fact, they aren't worth a penny, in my opinion.

Quality over quantity.
I purchased these crayons because I simply wanted to color. I didn't want to get the Crayola brand because those are a bit expansive, so I thought one dollar crayons should be just fine! Well, it isn't. There are so many dark colors, I get mistakend so easily with the blue and blacks. They also break SO easily. I literally broke about five crayons when I first used them. Also they don't have color names on the crayons so that makes it even more complicated to figure out which color is which. The quality is horrible overall. It's very waxy, it's like coloring with a candle. But on the somewhat-good-side, I did manage to color nicely with these crayons. I think it's because I colored very slowly and carefully.
