Personal Care Deep Cleansing Skin Cream, 12-oz. Jars
Almost as good as Noxema
I was originally using the previous version of this (SKU 144786) and thought they had discontinued it. To my delight, I found out they have replaced it with this version. The previous one smelled more like pinesol but it didn't bother me because it reminded me of the old Boy Scout hut out in the woods. This new version smells closer to the brand name. I've been using this type of product for decades because soap made my face feel like it was going to crack open. (I'm a 60 year old male.) It works great and I'll keep using it. I just wish the new product has a jar with either a smaller or no shoulder at the top. This new version is much softer than the previous one and it's tough to dig it out of the jar. It would be nice if the inside of the jar was straight up from the bottom to the top. I'd never pay $5 for the brand name when this is available.

Personal Care vs Dollar Tree's Brand
Personal Care makes an excellent cleansing cream, but Dollar Tree has a deep cleansing cream distributed by Greenbrier International which is better. Dollar Tree's Brand has a stronger tingling effect on the skin and also has a stronger menthol smell.
This is still a great product, but the house brand gives it a bit of competition.

Great for the price
Product is pretty good-has same tingly feeling as Noxema, but has a very different smell and consistency as Noxema and other generic brands. However, when you consider that it's about 1/3 the price of even other generics, it's hard to beat.
