Great batteries for certain applications
These work great in many of my guitar effect pedals that don't use a lot of power like a distortion pedal. One pedal that I own called the "Sun Face Fuzz" recommends using a cheap non-alkaline general purpose battery because they sound better than an alkaline in this pedal and even last a very long time if there is no LED to power. SO for the price these are perfect. I wouldn't use them in Delay or any power hungry pedals because they will not last very long but for my use they are great.

Very Useful!
These batteries are excellent for items that need power constantly and need to be changed often, such as smoke detectors. I don't believe these last as long as some of the others on the market, but I seem to get an exact six months of use in my smoke detector, and that is how often these should be changed. With the price that Dollar Tree offers, this is an excellent and useful option.

Last surprisingly well
I have 2 devices and numerous detectors that use these. For a dollar, I didn't expect much, but I have been pleasantly surprised because they last just as long as the ones I paid a LOT more for.

I ONLY BUY MY BATTERIES FROM THE DOLLAR STORE, IT'S THE BEST VALUE AROUND. I USE THEM IN ALL MY SMOKE DETECTORS.
