2012 W-2s for associates who signed up to receive their W-2s electronically by January 19, 2013, were available on January 21, 2013! You should have received an email from PaperlessEmployee.com with the subject line “IMPORTANT TAX RETURN DOCUMENT AVAILABLE.” If you did not receive the email, access www.paperlessemployee.com/Dollartree to retrieve your W-2 now.
If you are not a registered electronic W-2 recipient yet, you can avoid the rush for next year and sign up now to receive your 2013 W-2 electronically at www.paperlessemployee.com/Dollartree.
Paper W-2s were mailed on January 31, 2013, to your home address as it appeared in our records as of January 17, 2013. If you did not submit your change of address by January 17th, your W-2 may be forwarded by the U.S. Postal Service. We cannot provide estimated delivery dates for W-2s mailed or forwarded by the U.S. Postal Service.
If you wish to retrieve your 2012 W-2 electronically and you did not sign up by January 19th, you can do so today. Paper requests for 2012 W-2 duplicates will be processed after receipt of a Request for Duplicate W-2 Form starting on February 15, 2013. To obtain the form, send an email to w2request@dollartree.com. Or, you can sign up to receive an electronic copy by accessing www.paperlessemployee.com/Dollartree now. The cost for a duplicate 2012 W-2 is $7.00.
