Great bowls for the price
I got these to match the plates and mugs of the same pattern and the same things apply to these dishes as the plates. The pros: They are substantial pieces, resist chipping. After two months of nearly daily use and dishwasher cleaning, the colors are still as bold when I got them--and I've used wire scouring pads on them when needed. They microwave well, but tend to be a little hotter than other dishes. They are the perfect size to open a can of vegetables and microwave to serve in. Just tonight I had a company for dinner and they held mashed potatoes for six people.
The cons: If you are looking for dishes that match perfectly, these, then keep looking. The thickness, placement and color of the rings vary from dish to dish. The background color go from a stone shade to a pure white (as shown in the photo).
But for a dollar a piece, you can't beat the price. I got a four place settings of the plates, bowls, and mugs and liked them so well I picked up two more place settings

These are the BEST bowls!!!
I purchased these for icecream{my hubby REALLY loves icecream) but I find I use them for everything! They are great as serving bowls, and they are great for soup. I would definitely recommend these to everyone,they are a GREAT value!!!

Best quality for your money
I love these stoneware bowls! I have used them for side dishes, cerel, soups, dipping sauces and a whole lot more. The color is my favorite kind of blue and matches the other plates and cups. They are of high quality for the price. They are sturdy and I know will last for a long time. My friends and family have given me high compliments on my new set of bowls. Highly recommended!
