- A. While the specific items change weekly, one thing's for sure: Every item you find in our stores is priced at $1.00 (or less), every day! We carry a broad assortment of everyday goods, such as health and beauty care items, household chemicals, food and beverages, as well as an ever-changing mix of seasonal goods, like Christmas and Easter products, toys and party goods, stationery, books, pet supplies, automotive products and even beautiful glassware.

- A. Through a combination of factors that includes: 1) Purchasing power (we buy in huge quantities), 2) Purchasing manufacturers' over-runs, and 3) Constantly scrutinizing ways we can cut or avoid costs.

- A. Since we opened for business in 1986, inflation has averaged about three percent annually, yet our merchandise quality keeps getting better and better! We can accommodate modest inflation through volume buying, increasing efficiencies throughout our supply chain, and keeping a tight focus on costs. Inflation often is specific to a raw material. When that happens, we can simplify the packaging or adjust the quantity of items to maintain our $1.00 retail price.
