weird odor
I bought a pack of these for travel and to keep in the spare bathroom for guests so they could be used and tossed. they didn't seem to be tied together in a way that made them very puffy, so I retied and puffed them out to make them bigger, which I didn't really mind doing, so I bought more. I noticed an odd smell when I opened the new container - like petroleum - so I thought I got a dud, but the next container smelled the same :( I aired them out for a little while and it wasn't too bad... unless I just got used to it! they work fine and I couldn't tell that they left a scent on our skin after using them, but I think because of the smell I wouldn't use them in a gift basket or anything, as cute as they are being that they're mini size and come in cute packaging! bummer :\

Excellent for children
I bought this 5 pack for my 7 year old daughter since she prefers to use liquid soap for showers, and each one lasted between 6-8 weeks before falling apart. Not bad, considering how much money we saved in soap. They got a good lather and we only needed to use a quarter sized dollop for her to clean her whole body.
When they ran out, I got some large sized ones at CVS thinking they would work just fine for her too; they were more expensive ($1 each) and much more durable.
How wrong I was! After the first week, I noticed that she was using a LOT more soap, claiming that the bigger bath puffs run out of soap too quickly, and that the larger size was too hard to use to clean the smaller parts of her body (face and between her toes).
Going to stick to buying this 5 pack; actually ordered a case of 48 five-packs for pick-up, so I'll never run out!
