Royal Norfolk Burgundy Stoneware Bowls, 6"
Solid, beautiful (and inexpensive!)
I bought 5 of these (set of 4 plus 1 spare in case I break/chip one) and they're really cute for fall dining! They are somewhat heavy since they are stoneware, and you will see tiny "pits" in the glaze where a fleck of dirt stuck (notice the bottom of the red bowl in my picture), but for $1 you can't beat it!
I combined these bowls with the Fall Tricolor stoneware plates also available at Dollar Tree with some silky tan placemats (yep, Dollar Tree, too) and some fake fall foliage (Dollar Tree!) for a cute dinning setup.
I did have to sift through about 2 dozen bowls before finding 5 that were in really good shape. Some had small chips, others had glaze problems (missed a spot, too thin so you see through it, etc.), and they do tend to scuff each other if nestled/stacked carelessly (like the clearcoat scuffs a tiny bit but sometimes can get wiped clean). Definitely recommend buying from the store rather than online so you may find the nicest quality pieces.

I love these bowls, but the packing and shipping is a joke. You have to order at least twice as many as you need. I just got 2 more cases of 24 today, and one had 14 broken, the other had 10 broken. Exactly half of what I needed/paid for. Its a joke!

I've been looking for bowls like these for years. They are very deep. I've had them in the dishwasher and microwave and they are really sturdy and heavy.

Nice bowls for the buck
Bought 4 in the box at Dollar Tree Deals and we love them - headed back for 4 more, as they are great for cereal and did well in the microwave.
