Good scissors for lite use
I loved the price for these! The worked well for me for months with cutting tags off the kids clothing, cutting open food packages.etc But one day I tried to cut open one of those sealed hard plastic packages (you know the ones that cellphone chargers and such come in) well I was cutting and almost through that awful plastic and all of a sudden SNAP!! They broke, so I would recommened using them only for lite jobs. Dont put to much stress on these scissors . But other then that I loved them :-)

What do other brands charge for their scissors?
I'm not sure, but will be looking into. I'd never used kitchen scissors before, had always used knives. The first time I used these I fell in love. Loved them so much I bought another pair. Well, I don't know which is which, they look identical, but the other day one pair wouldn't open easily. I pulled off the red button to see what was going on under it to keep the scissors from opening and closing easily, and the doo-hicky under the red dot was slightly rusted. Hmmmm.... I dunno I have nothing to compare them to--if I see another brand for $3-4 bucks, I'll buy one and then compare.

love the product
i recently bought these betty crocker products at my local dollar tree..i was pleased weeks later that they still were sharpe....ive been very pleased with all the betty crocker items..
