Perfect size
I have had this colander for over six months and it has gotten a lot of use; fruits, vegetables, pastas, and beans. I was pleased last night, however, when I had to use it during our process to get our greenbeans ready for freezing. I used this to pour our greenbeans into from a boiling pot of water, drain and then placed the greenbeans into ice cold water (--blanching process). The colander did not warp or anything. I am really happy and with all the vegetables we have to prepare to freeze I will be purchasing another to speed up our process. Really like the size. This product works well for my family.

I love this Colander!
I use it to wash my fruits n veggies and drain my pasta, so far it has held up. I like how wide it is.

Excellent for steaming
I use this to steam vegetables for my daughters. (We have a 2 year old, 4 year old and a 6 month old.) I use it more for our younger daughter when steaming veggies to make her baby food (homemade babyfood). Love this product. It is made by United Solutions Plastics (http://www.unitedsolutions-plastics.com/) which is an American company. Nothing more really needs to said other than it has not broken, warped or fallen apart, because it is made by a great company. (Not a spokeperson for them just an advocate of made in the USA products.)
