Glazing scrapes off with use, warps in microwave
These have the same problems as the plates of the same design - the glazing scrapes off with use and leaves little scratch marks, and they seem to warp in the microwave. Will have to trash my whole set of plates / bowls and replace them.

Square bowls
Great Value again, but NOT as pictured, they are not oblong, they are square. Poor picture

Royal Folk square bowl
The problem with this item is the picture. It shows an oval but says square. I really thought it would be oval (like an oval square) Problem for us as we were ordering to make a perticular item in for our restaurant and square doesn't work. We have serveral other of the Royal Folk dishware and are very happy with it.

Best ever everyday tableware!
The shape of this bowl/plate is perfect for a variety of uses. Don't plan on using this "bowl" for a hearty serving of a thin liquid based soup as it is shallow. Otherwise, this is great for controlling portion sizes. Serves a moderate bowl of soup as a course in a meal. Holds sufficient serving for something like stew. Great as a salad plate. This bowl/plate design has worked well for using them as a smaller dinner plate for portion control!
