Can't beat it for a buck!
I work on the boardwalk in the summer as a beach badge checker and these bottles are great for filling up with ice cubes and my favorite drinks. With the wide mouth design, you don't have to fool around with trying to suck your drink out of a straw or spout. It's as close to drinking out of a regular glass or cup as you can get. I love them and have a bunch, and highly recommend them.

water bottle w rubber ring holder
I agree w another comment. It is a nice size, a rubber type ring to hold it better, yet, my son dropped on a asphalt and a big hole shattered on the place where it hit the road. Without water, nothing would happen if dropped. be careful.

Not shatterproof!
It was forecast to be a hot day with lots of sunshine for the Girl Scouts 100th anniversary celebration, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the 48 girls and their leaders. We bought a water bottle for each one to keep them hydrated during the two-hour celebration in the hot sun. Within minutes of filling the water bottles several girls had dropped them on the ground and they shattered, leaving that girl with nothing to drink from during the rest of the event. Within the two-hour span of the celebration eight of the 48 water bottles had smashed, leaving a bunch of thirsty girls to regret having dropped their bottles on the ground. What a gigantic disappointment this purchase was!

Quality matched price
I bought these in bulk for a class, and they suited the purpose exactly. If I wanted one just for myself, I'd spend more money on one that was sturdier. A couple of them arrived cracked, and more are likely to crack with use, but they were cheap and perfect for a crowd.
