Best Bowl for Big Dogs
I got this for my 3 year old German Shepard and it's perfect. I have been looking for a big bowl for my German Shepard. This is way better than like a $10.00 bowl at Petsmart. Holds up, nice design, Big. GET THIS FOR BIG DOGS AND YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Ok For Short-Term, Limited Use
Pros:
Bright colors; has classic wide-base design to help prevent tipping. Sturdy and break-resistant.
Cons:
Bowl is too lightweight - tends to move around on smooth floors/surfaces while pet is eating. Like most plastics it can absorb food odors, get scratched more easily and become difficult to clean. Also not best for pets (especially cats) who have allergies to plastic (feline acne most often develops on the underside of the pet's chin when coming into contact with the material). For all the above reasons, ceramic (also available at Dollar Tree stores) or stainless steel is a better value/choice for long-term, daily use.

Great value
I've been buying dog food bowls at Dollar Tree for several years, and they're a good value. They last a long time (eventually we'll get cracks, but then these bowls do get heavy use with our 3 dogs), but at $1 each, who can complain? If the crack is not in the base, I use them under houseplants as a drip pan of sorts, thereby recycling. Nice capacity, holds 2 cups dry dog food mixed with canned and still has plenty of room.

Purchasing a case of 36 Plastic Pet Bowls is a better value than buying  units. Would you like to upgrade to a case?
