USED TO BE to best cookies
I happened across these in my local store one day and *had* to try them - I love a good molasses cookie! I was pleased to discover they were chewy AND decently full-flavored. The next time I bought some they were dried out and tasted plastic-y... they were expired. I learned to watch out for the date. After learning that trick, I next had encountered dried out cookies that were NOT expired... and learned to kind of squish the cookies to make sure they were fresh. Unfortunately, that too has let me down. Both packages I've bought in the past few months were NOT expired, felt squishy, and yet were drier, less chewy, and less flavorful than those I started buying 6+ months ago. I've stopped buying them.

Great value for only $1. Tasty treat for those who love molasses cookies. They're pretty chewy, but I love 'em.

These cookies are just too delicious.
These cookies are SO GOOD. I like to eat healthy, so I try to altogether avoid the area they are located in my Dollar Tree because I get tempted to pick these up. All of the flavors are good by this brand, but the molasses ones are... wow... yeah, that good. They are chewy cookies - perfect if you like chewy cookies. They are great tasting at room temperature, but I have also had them heated up in the microwave for a very short time and they are even better! I wish they weren't so fattening, because they taste so good - I even ate an entire package on my own one day!
