Cracked at the top but didn't break!
Still works great. great quality salt. Will get another to see if it was just a fluke. Ours cracked when grinding.

multi-purpose glass grinder with plastic lid & top
I've been using these for nearly a year. They seem durable. My favorite feature is that they're refillable. [pepper corn mixes, seasoned salt mixes, many other spice mixes]

land vs sea
I don't know what makes sea salt different from ordinary salt. A mineral is a mineral...right? I think it has to do with the course grind, but this stuff tastes better than ordinary table salt.
