Christmas House Santa Kitchen Linens Collection 5 5 1 2
Adorable! I bought the oven mitt and potholders (didn't get the towel, I'll tell you why later) and love them to pieces! As with all my designed/custom linens, I washed them in epsom salt to prevent the colors from bleeding during future launderings. They do a pretty darn good job at preventing heat transmission when grabbing something out of the oven (just don't hold on for 5 minutes straight, lol) and I only grab the pans with the plain-colored side to prevent damage to the design. The reason I didn't buy the towel: as with most Dollar Tree designed/seasonal towels, the design is screen-printed on the item. If you pull the towel fibers sideways, you can see the white fabric underneath. To me, it cheapens the look of the towel and I question it's absorbing power since there's essentially paint on the towel. Cute for decoration? Absolutely. Functional? Not very much. October 29, 2014
