Good for beginning "readers" These books are great for my two year old. Before they can really read, but when they are old enough to be interested in the pictures and can talk about what they see. The books are very sturdy and should they happen to get torn-- no major loss; they were only a dollar! Only issue is that sometimes there are typos, or weird english-- made in china. July 23, 2012
