Plastic Flute Recorders
Rounding out the band
My five-year-old granddaughter is so talkative. She loves music and so does her two-year-old sister. We're going to experiment with the flutes, selecting holes to cover to hear harmonies we can produce. I'm looking forward to this music making.

These are a fun toy for parties. Little ones think they are actually playing. Good starter for them though.

OK Toy Flute
This is a very good toy flute for young children. Don't expect to use it as a real recorder, however. Covering up the holes does not change the tone much at all. Little kids will mostly like going around the house blowing single notes on it. As a Toy Flute, I would give it four or five stars. As a Toy, Recorder, however, I would give it one or two stars, as covering the holes does not change the tones very noticeably at all.

These plastic flute recorders are good for music teachers who need any last minute instruction time. They are not meant to replace a recorder, but will serve the purpose. I have used them for my pre-K class and they love them.
